The Insecurities

Another huge problem of mine and I'm sure for every teen is being insecure about either your body or a way you do something. I know first hand this is a huge problem for me, always being worried about what people think about you or how you do something. For me i noticed I'm very insecure about my body and that's the case with most teens these days. It can be so hard to find those jeans that you feel like a model in and i notice that i always fat shame myself when i don't do a workout or have to much sugar that day.  Something i have to learn and I'm sure everyone can is Our Insecurities Do Not Define Us we have no label to the things we dislike about ourselves and we cannot judge our self by them.

I reached out to a friend of mine who gave me this amazing word of wisdom and that is "We cannot live by the terrible lies we tell our self, if we keep telling our self that we are horrible people we will believe it" why i was talking to her i asked her about her insecurities and what she hates to do in front of people and believe it or not it was the same as mine. This showed me that i am not alone in this that other people suffer this same thing, so many teens keep all these feelings bundled up and then it just explodes and a lot of those feelings come from our insecurities.

Simply look at what Stacy London said "Don't let fear or insecurity stop you from trying new things. Believe in yourself. Do what you love. and most importantly, be kind to others, even if you don't like them'' But in the end all i can say is embrace everything you don't like. Don't like your legs: Be grateful you have legs to walk! Don't like your clothes: think about all the children in need of clothes. We must learn to be thankful for everything we have instead of wishing for even better things. If you don't like something about yourself remember that you have the power to change anything. Stay positive darlings!
